How to Use Screenshot → Done: Turn a Screenshot Into a Next Action
Choose one screenshot, keep it local, write down the useful detail or next action, and save the note on the current device.
Built for Anyone who screenshots events, addresses, receipts, messages, products or instructions and wants to act on them later.
You will turn a screenshot into a concrete local note without creating another disconnected account or uploading the image for analysis.
Before you start
Screenshot → Done is a projectless, local-first LMOS utility. The selected screenshot is shown as a browser preview and is not uploaded by this utility. Saved notes stay on the current device.
Step 1: Choose one screenshot
Select a clear PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP screenshot under the current size limit. The preview remains local to the browser session.
Step 2: Write what matters
Enter the date, address, phone number, link, reminder, receipt detail or next action you want to remember.
Step 3: Save the useful note
Save the title and note to local device memory when you want to return to it later.
Step 4: Act from the source when needed
Return to the original screenshot or source app when you need to verify or use a detail that was not written into the note.
Make the workflow better
Crop or organize the screenshot before selecting it.
Verify dates, addresses and payment details against the original source before acting.
Write the next action, not just a description of the screenshot.
Questions people ask
Where is the screenshot stored?
The utility does not upload or permanently store the selected screenshot. It uses a temporary local browser preview and saves only the note you create on the current device.
Does Screenshot → Done send the image to an external AI service?
No. The current local-first version does not send the selected screenshot to an external AI analysis service.
