LMOS VOID Beta 0.34.5: LM TV Now Refreshes Stale Sources Individually

The library refresh engine now checks each active LM TV source instead of assuming the whole catalog is fresh because one source updated recently. Stale channels can refresh without rebuilding sources that are already current.

Beta test updateThis article documents what is working now, what it can do for users, and the workflow we want real testers to pressure-test.

Pain point → fix → benefit

  • Pain point: one recently refreshed channel could make the whole TV library appear fresh even when other active sources were more than eight hours old.

  • Fix: freshness is calculated per active TV source using that source’s latest refreshed item.

  • Efficiency: only stale source slugs are passed into the TV refresh routine instead of refreshing the entire catalog.

  • Benefit: LM TV can keep individual channels current without wasting work on channels that are already healthy.

Verification

The automatic iteration loop identified four stale LM TV sources. The pre-fix refresh request returned refreshed:false. After the shared-library patch, the same refresh path returned refreshed:true and refreshed the stale-source set.
